SCHOOL SPONSORS
Only eight more to go! Will you prayerfully consider becoming a sponsor to help one of our Trinity School students with tuition? The suggested gift is $200.00, but any amount is welcomed. We are looking for 40 sponsors this year and have 32! Simply mark your gift, “School Sponsor Plan.”
DEADLINE FOR HOLIDAY SCRIP ORDERS
Don’t forget to take advantage of our SCRIP Gift Card program for your holiday shopping. You can select how a percentage of your purchase can benefit our school! The deadline to order scrip and receive it for Christmas is Dec. 14.
BLOOD DRIVE
Our next Blood Drive will be December 22, 1:00-5:00p. For an appointment, please visit RedCrossBlood.org, or call 1-800-RED CROSS.
“CHRISTMAS IN KILLARNEY” AT MISSOURI THEATER
A group of us bought tickets to see “Christmas in Killarney” back in August. This holiday musical is set in Ireland in the 1920’s and brings to life the spirit of Christmas the Irish way. It is Friday, December 12, at 7:30 PM in St. Joseph. We have room on the bus for more people if anyone wants to purchase their own tickets and ride with us ($10.00 bus fee per person). We will leave the school parking lot at 6:30 PM. If you call the Missouri Theater Box Office (816-279-1225) and say you’re with the Trinity Lutheran Church group, you can get a 10% discount on your tickets (regular prices are $45-$65). They will try to get you seats on the main floor near our group if there are any available; or you can choose your own seats elsewhere in the theater. If you decide to get tickets, please let me know ASAP if you want to ride the bus so I can reserve your seat. Any questions, please call Sherri Smith at 913.367.6992.
DECEMBER FOOD PANTRY NEEDS
Thank you, to all who donated so generously to our Food Pantry last month! We could still use peanut butter, jelly, canned soup, chili, and baked beans. Please refer to the donation flyer in the narthex for items we accept, as this has changed. The need is GREAT! (Please, no expired or near expired food.) For questions, see Terry Mills.
DECEMBER OCC NEEDS
For December, we are asking for your PRAYERS. Please pray specifically for the 141 shoeboxes that were packed by Trinity, that God uses them to bless children's lives and bring them to know Jesus. Also pray for all of the shoeboxes that OCC collected last month, that they will bring joy and the love of Jesus to all the children who receive them. Thanks for supporting OCC!
