They will be collecting mites along their route to take to the convention. Today the large mite boxes will be out for your opportunity to contribute your change, ones, fives, or to empty your mite box to help the new mission projects. Thank you for your participation!
MISSIONARY VISIT

Vicar Johnson, who will be spending the next year serving in the Dominican Republic, will join Pastor Dandy’s Bible Study and share a presentation and answer questions on his upcoming mission field.

We'll be sharing feedback, giving positive reflections and discussing ideas for improving next year's VBS. If you're unable to attend, please reach out to Cathy Higley via email or text.
JUNE BLOOD DRIVE
Trinity will be hosting a Blood Drive on Monday, June 23, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. You can call 1-800- 733-2767 or visit RedCross.org and enter TrinityLuthAtchison to schedule an appointment.
40th ANNIVERSARY CARD SHOWER
Pastor Lee Seetin, former member of Trinity, will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of his ordination into Holy Ministry on June 22. Please feel free to send him a card and thank God for his years of service. Cards may be mailed to: Saint Peter Lutheran Church,
2320 Hwy 69, Gresham, NE 68367-7517.
BENEFIT LUNCHEON
A benefit luncheon will be held on June 29, immediately after the 10:30 worship service in the Fellowship Hall. The luncheon is in honor of our member, Linda Estes, who lovingly cleaned Pastor Ziegler’s house for many years. She is now courageously continuing her battle with cancer. The menu will be Sloppy Joes with sides and desserts. Take-out containers will be available if you prefer that option. Please give as generously as you can, as all funds raised will go toward Linda’s travel and treatment expenses. Let us come together in prayer, fellowship, and generosity to help our sister in Christ during this difficult time. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”-Galatians 6:2
LAYETTE KIT DONATIONS NEEDED
Theodora Circle will be putting together layette kits for Orphan Grain Train in August. Please bring donations to the box in the church narthex. The items needed are: 4 cloth diapers, 4 diaper pins, 2 rubber or reusable swimmer pants (not diapers), 2 washcloths, 1 sleeper, 2 onesies, 1 receiving blanket, 1 blanket. Please call Pam Wilburn at 913-426-3191 with questions.
VALLEY HOPE FUNDRAISER
Valley Hope is raising funds for their Bridge to Recovery Campaign to expand and renovate their facility. Trinity will match up to $5,000 for any donations given to this fundraiser through August 10. Our matching funds will use income from our HELP Foundation. All donations should be given in an envelope marked with “Valley Hope.” Checks should be made out to TLC with “Valley Hope” in the memo line.
JUNE FOOD PANTRY NEEDS
This month we are suggesting canned tuna, Tuna Helper, complete pancake mix, jelly, and butter/margarine donations for our Food Pantry. The need is GREAT! (Please, no expired or near expired food.) Questions see Terry Mills.
JUNE OCC NEEDS
We are collecting hygiene products for June: toothbrushes, combs, brushes, nail clippers/files, eating utensils, deodorant, lip balm, fun band aids, and washcloths. No soap, please. It is no longer allowed.
INVITATION
It is not too early to begin thinking and praying about who you should invite to our next Adult Inquirers’ Class that will begin on August 17. Watch for more info in future bulletins.

PRAYER GUIDE – June 15, 2025
Trinity Lutheran Church
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6–7
Dearest Lord, thank You for our church, Trinity. Thank You for the faithful men and women who have served You here since our founding. Thank You for blessing us with such devoted Pastors through the years. May I and all our members be devout in worship, and in our witness for You. Holy Spirit help us fulfill the Great Commission and reach all the lost in our community.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for a remarkable VBS! Bless the many people that came together to share the Good News of our Savior with the children that attended. Continue to help those seeds grow into a life of faith in Jesus.
Good Shepherd, bless our Evangelism Callers who go out every Monday evening. Raise up more men and women to become callers to reach the thousands in our community who do not have salvation.
Loving Father, watch over and bless our shut-ins: Anelle Genail, Linda Cross, Lois Vowels, Darlene Robinson, Shirley Fuller, Sue Eyler, Alvin Wehking, Jessie Miller, Cindy Hoverson, Rick Hitchens, Dan Huff, Ellen Reno, Janice McDevitt, Roy Truman, Nancy Shannon, Tudy Devor, Sherry Garrison, Cheril Hefner, Mary Ranger, Wayne Reno, David Olson, Marjorie Stone, Mary Kuhnert, and Richard Linden.
O Great Physician, be with all who are struggling with cancer: Harold Olson, David Smith, Kristy Melton, Crissi Harvey, Kathy Anderson, Diana Rooney, Amy Keys, Manny Ramos, Wayne Hundley, Judy Dissen, Thomas Rockey, Glenda Griffin. I praise You that Jane Allen is now cancer-free!
Great Redeemer, I come before You today, asking for wisdom and strength to guard my words. Help me to resist the temptation to gossip, to speak only what is true, kind, and uplifting. Give me the courage to walk away from negative conversations or redirect the discussion toward goodness. Let my words reflect Your love and grace, bringing encouragement rather than harm.
Almighty God, also watch over and protect these young people in the Armed Services: Jeremy Hanshaw, Jennifer Lassen, Travis Hooper,
Romonn Calhoun, Dylan Klawuhn, Derrick Reyes, Joshua Blasi, Michael Krock, Robert Berry, Aaron Cairo, Libby Harper, Shane Gierstorf, Cameron Fridell, Ethan Piper, MacKenzie Forbes, Michael Forbes, Kiah Cockrell, Joshua Hughes, Conner Simmers, and Nora Richter.
Compassionate Father, I pray for the sick, recuperating, and those struggling with chronic illnesses: Anelle Genail, Linda Edgington, Harvey Mead, Alane Hanshaw, Steve Estes, Michelle McMillan, Marvin Sumy, Cindy Hoverson, Laura Kelly, Leonard Green, Joe Cornell, Joe Schletzbaum, Linda Wilson, Larry Genail, Ellen Reno, Steve Niemann, Randy Kearney, Steve Hobus, Monte Minard, Laurie Reed, Sue Schuler, Danny Rivera, Patty Donaldson, Mike Stapleton, Cindy Swimarski, Clay Lutz, Phillip Cairo, Richard Sinclair, Emma Clowers, Justin Bignell, Jeane Koenen, and Stan Snyder.
Thank You, our Great Provider, for the gift of the recent rains. I pray that we will have seasonable weather this growing season, and plentiful rains, but not enough to cause flooding, in order to provide for a bountiful harvest in the fall.
Gracious Savior, I’m thankful for those that plan the exciting bus trips for our congregation. Bless them as they plan the remaining events for this year. Watch over their travels and bless those that give of their time to drive the coach. Inspire more of our members to get involved and attend.
