Members, please include any changes to your contact information. Thank you for printing your name(s), it is difficult to read “signatures.”

This week you will find the January calendar, Adult Inquirers’ Class sign-ups, and the Portals of Prayer daily devotional.  

INSTALLATION 

During our 8:00 service today, we will install our Officers and Committee Members for 2026. 
 

THEODORA CIRCLE 

Ladies, come join our fellowship dinner, in the church basement on Monday, January 12th, at 6:00p.  Roschelle is the hostess.  Meal theme is soups, veggies and breads.  BYOB and a dish to share.  For questions, please contact Pam Wilburn at 913-426-3191. 
 

LWML 

Ladies, it’s time to get together again for conversation and Bible Study! Come to the Fellowship Hall (church basement) Wed., Jan. 14, at 4:00. Our woman of the Bible is Esther. Bring your mites and Bible.  

MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH 

Middle School Youth Group will meet on January 18th from 5-6:30pm in the school cafeteria. We will have supper, a game and a devotion. Bring your Bible and a friend!  

ADULT INQUIRERS’ CLASS 

It’s not too late to sign up, better yet, bring a friend! Our next Adult Inquirers’ Class begins next Sunday, Jan. 18, at 4:00p in the Fellowship Hall. In this exciting class, Pastor Dandy teaches the basics of the Christian faith. For current members, it is always good to take a refresher course! No homework or memory work is required. Childcare is provided. If interested, you’ll find sign-up sheets in your bulletin and the narthex. 

INITIAL OFFERING/PORTALS OF PRAYER 

The Initial Offering envelope in your box is used to cover the cost of the envelopes, which is $10.00 this year. The costs of Portals of Prayer for the year are: $11.00 (Pocket size), $17.00 (Digest size), and $20.00 (Large print).  

ANNUAL REPORTS 

It’s time to gather the reports for the Annual Voter’s Meeting on Feb. 15. Please send them to Rhonda no later than February 2. You may email them to churchoffice@trinityatchison.org. Thank you!  

WEEKLY PRAYER FAMILIES 

New for 2026, you will find weekly prayer families listed on the prayer guide. Thank you in advance for praying for all our Trinity families! All members will be listed once during the year. Many of these are inactive members. We may not have heard that someone has died, had a baby, or other family changes have occurred. If you see an error and have current information, please update the church office.  

DONUTS 

Youth attending the Higher Things Conference will have donuts and coffee available in the school cafeteria during Bible Class on Jan. 25th. Your generous free-will offering will help with their fundraising.  

KAIR RADIO BROADCASTS 

It is time to gather sponsors for our 2026 KAIR radio broadcasts. We have 18 and need 34 more. The cost is $50.00 per Sunday. Simply mark your gift, “KAIR BROADCAST.” 

DID YOU KNOW…? 

We have a large-print hymnal available. Please see an usher or elder if you would like to use it. 

Lost and found items are kept in the church office. Stop by or call the office to check on something you misplaced. Items are kept for 30 days and then donated.  

Trinity takes donations of pennies (and all other coins). Simply place your coins in a bag or container and drop them off at the office. Funds are deposited in the Dream Fund III account.  

OFFERING ENVELOPES 

There are still a few 2026 offering envelopes on the table in the narthex. If you do not find yours, please let the church office know and we will get you a box. 

JANUARY FOOD PANTRY NEEDS  

Thank you to all who donated so generously to our Food Pantry this past year! We were blessed to assist 70 families in 2025. Our shelves are stocked and ready to assist more families in 2026.  

JANUARY OCC NEEDS 

Thank you for your generous support during 2025! In January we collect hygiene products: toothbrushes, combs, brushes, little mirrors, nail clippers/files, deodorant, fun band aids, wash cloths, lip balm, and eating utensils. 

THRIVENT ACTION TEAMS 

Thrivent Action Team Cards are available. Action Teams can be used for any type of community service project, fundraiser, or educational event. Contact your Thrivent representative if you need help applying.
