KAIR RADIO BROADCASTS

Almost there! We have 36 of our 2026 KAIR radio broadcasts sponsors and need 16 more. The cost is $50.00 per Sunday. Simply mark your gift, “KAIR BROADCAST.”
 

L.W.M.L. QUARTERLY

Would you like to receive the L.W.M.L. Quarterly? March 15 is the last day to order your subscription for the year. For $6.50 you will receive L.W.M.L. news, Bible studies, articles, and personal stories. Contact Joyce Duitsman to order or drop off at the office.

 

ANNUAL CHURCH CLEANING DAY

Ladies, Gents, and Youth, our Annual Church Cleaning Day will be Saturday, March 21, 9:00a - Noon. We will need everyone’s help! This year, we will be cleaning ALL of our campus; deep cleaning the sanctuary, basement, stairwells, choir loft, school buildings, and weather allowing, the grounds. Watch for more details. Your help will be needed and most appreciated!

THRIVENT CHOICE DOLLARS/ACTION TEAMS

Thrivent members with 2026 Choice Dollars need to direct them to your favorite church or nonprofit by March 31st. You can do this online through your Thrivent Account or call 1-800-847-4836 and say “Thrivent Choice” when prompted.   Action Team Cards are also available. Action Teams can be used for any type of community service project, fundraiser, or educational event. Contact your Thrivent representative if you need help applying.

OFFICE REMODEL

During the office remodel the side entry door will be kept locked. We are asking everyone to use the front doors on 8th Street for entry to the church. Doors will be unlocked during office hours. A temporary office is set up in the Mother’s Room. Thank you for your flexibility during this time.

Make plans now to come to Vacation Bible School, June 1 - 5.  This is for ages 3 through 8th grade. The theme this year is "Tropical Trek.”   We will have lots of activities, fun, food, and learning about Jesus who came to seek and save us!  

 

MARCH FOOD PANTRY NEEDS 

This month’s suggestions are: spaghetti sauce, (we are good on pasta), boxes of instant pudding and jello, and sticks or tubs of butter /margarine (please bring directly to the office). Please see the list of accepted donations in the narthex for other suggestions. (Please, no expired or near expired food.) Questions see Terry Mills.

 

MARCH OCC NEEDS

In March we collect various quality crafts. Examples are coloring books, sticker/activity books, watercolor sets, wood crafts, playdough, scratch art, stickers, and sewing kits.

March 18:

  • Supper hosts: Joseph Sinclair, Eagle Scout Project Fundraiser (4:30 – 6:00p)

March 25:

  • Supper hosts: Washington, D. C. Group (4:30 – 6:00p)

Meals are hosted as fundraisers. These groups appreciate your generosity.

Families considering Kindergarten for the Fall are encouraged to bring their child and spend some time in a snapshot of our program.

 

VIP Day – March 13 – 8:30a – 12:30p

 

HOWDY grandparents and other special guests.  You are invited to spend a morning with your Pre-K to 8th grade students.  We will start with Chapel at 8:30 in the church.  Bingo and other fun events are being planned for this WESTERN THEMED event.  A concession stand of nachos, hot dogs, chips, etc. (instead of pizza) will be available for purchase after chapel throughout the morning.  Please join the fun but leave your horses outside. 

 

Pre-school and Kindergarten Round-up

March 24 – 4:15 – 6:15p

 

Families considering enrolling their child in our Pre-school 3- or 4-year-old morning programs or Kindergarten are encouraged to come meet the teachers and see the classrooms any time during this open house.
