April 2026 Newsletter Highlights

April at Trinity Lutheran Church and School is filled with the joy of Easter, vibrant ministry activity, and a full calendar of opportunities to worship, learn, and serve together.

Easter Reflections
Pastor Jacob Dandy reminds us that the resurrection of Jesus is not only a historical event but a present reality. “Christ is not absent. He is risen, and He is still at work for His Church.”
Through His Word, Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper, the living Christ continues to come to His people with forgiveness, life, and salvation.

Holy Week & Easter Attendance
Nearly 500 worshipers gathered to celebrate the Resurrection on Easter Sunday. Holy Week services—including Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday’s Stripping of the Altar, Good Friday, and Tenebrae—were deeply meaningful and well attended.

School News
Trinity Lutheran School wrapped up a busy March with VIP Day, Book Fair, Step-Up Day, and more. Students enjoyed Clydesdale horses, art exhibits, and upcoming Pony Express activities. The school also prepares for Kansas State testing and spring events like the April 17 Carnival and April 30 Trinity Circus.

Upcoming Events

  • April 14 – Circuit Pastors’ Winkel hosted at Trinity
  • April 18 – Loaves & Fishes & Bus Trip to “Elvis & Elton”
  • April 27 – Community Blood Drive
  • April 30 – Trinity Circus (6:30 p.m.)
  • June 1–5 – Vacation Bible School: Tropical Trek

Ministry Opportunities
LWML, Altar Guild, Theodora Circle, and other groups continue serving through fellowship, Bible study, and mission projects—including collecting baby items for Orphan Grain Train.

Celebrations
We honor members celebrating milestone birthdays (80+) and April anniversaries, giving thanks for God’s faithfulness in their lives.
